Post-fermentation we offer you one of the widest possible ranges of recovery, purification and chemistry technologies and techniques of any CMO.
First and foremost we will help you identify the very quickest, most efficient and effective ways to isolate microbial products from the broth. In fact we have the following systems in place for primary product recovery:
- Microfiltration
- Membrane filter press
- Disk stack centrifuge
- Sedicanter
- High-pressure homogenizer
- Nutsche filter.
Whatever the challenges of recovering your product from the broth, we’re experts in the vast majority of commonly applied technologies. Systems we use include ultrafilters, chromatography columns (reverse phase, ion exchange) and USP grade salt dissolution stations.
Our facilities for small molecule recovery – as well as those for protein production – are ATEX classified and capable of handling organic solvents.
Fill and finish
Aside from microbial fermentation we offer you a one-stop-shop for fill-and-finish technologies.
In cGMP finishing we can produce APIs in liquid form, as well as final-filling with water for injection (WFI) and sterilized air. We can combine APIs with additives; and we offer stabilization steps for transportation and storage.
We even provide freeze and spray-drying (through our long-established relationships with qualified tollers).
