40 years ago acrylic resin was the component that enabled the development of waterborne technology and we worked with you to bring products such as emulsion paints to market. Overcoming challenges to optimize the cost and performance, eliminate VOC s, and provide sustainable solutions. Properly designed, waterborne acrylic technology provides a sustainable coating with enhanced durability for a longer life.

In high-end markets, our NeoCrylTM waterborne acrylic is now used to coat wooden furniture including tables and kitchen cabinets. Many wooden window frames are also sprayed with factory applied waterborne acrylic coatings. Manufacturers benefit from fast drying processes that can take as little as 30 minutes. For the home owner, new window frames can last up to ten years without needing painting.

Today our UracronTM solvent based acrylics are increasing their market share. Used in the automotive industry for the last layer on a vehicle to provide a superior, scratch resistant clear coat with a high gloss finish. For the motorist the result is visibly striking giving the vehicle bodywork a ‘mirror-like’ appearance.
