NeoCryl™ XK-237
The low water uptake and excellent water resistance in especially semi gloss formulations differentiates NeoCryl™ XK-237 from other acrylic binders for Joinery topcoats. It gives good durability and complies with EN-927 standard.
Film formation can be accelerated at elevated drying temperatures resulting in faster blocking resistance even at high layer thickness, improved sandability, hardness and chemical resistance. The speed in surface sprayed per day can be increased substantially versus conventional systems (m2/day). NeoCryl™ XK-237 is available in Europe.
NeoCryl™ XK-238
A binder based on the newest acrylic technology that provides good formulation latitude and also especially the low water uptake when dried under critical conditions: 15°C and 75% RH (Quick Scan method). The good water resistance in semi gloss topcoat formulation is an additional benefit next to the good blocking resistance at high coating thickness. NeoCryl™ XK-238 is available in Europe.
NeoCryl™ XK-320
Nowadays the higher demands for primers regarding water uptake due to extended outdoor exposure can be realized with NeoCryl™ XK-320. Both EN-927 and Quick Scan standards can be met with this styrene acrylic copolymer that shows a constant water vapour transport rate independent of the dry film thickness. Adhesion on wood or other coatings is obtained by a new adhesion mechanism. NeoCryl™ XK-320 is available in Europe.
This unique waterbased acid soluble acrylic binder is a 1K system for primer application that permanently locks wood ingredients and tannins but also gives good knot insulation. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
