We’ve set ourselves some of the toughest sustainability goals in our industry to ensure our Eco+ solutions have as little impact as possible. That means using more raw materials from natural, renewable sources as part of our commitment to a bio-based economy. We’ve reduced the use of Volatile Organic Compounds to make using our solutions safer and healthier without compromising on performance. We also work on exciting new technologies like our cooperation with Novomer for polycarbonates based on CO2 that significantly reduce our carbon footprint. And we apply our expertise to new technologies that will improve our environment in the future. Like self-cleaning coatings that enable wind turbines to turn more efficiently. Or coating solutions that optimize the energy output of solar cells. So we can all use fewer of our planet’s precious resources.
We genuinely believe that our Bright Science can change the world. And people are already seeing the beauty of it where it’s needed most. Like the sachets of essential vitamins we help to supply to the world food program to give the ‘hidden hungry’ the vital nourishment they need to survive daily life.
