Emerging Business Areas: Effecting radical developments
Looking towards radical new market and technology developments - and as part of our ambition to create a sustainable future - we have created Emerging Business Area (EBA) programs. Thanks to these, we are already taking a leading position in the development of solutions to meet present and future market needs in the fields of biomedical and bio-based products & services. We are confident that the growth of these businesses will continue at a steep rate, ultimately leading to aspired combined sales of more € 1 billion in 2020 with an above average profitability.
Furthermore, a new EBA Advanced Surfaces has been established to fully capture the potential of DSM’s proprietary anti-reflective coating technology.
