Thanks to our world-class science and technology base, we help drive these discoveries and apply them to meet the world’s constantly shifting needs in innovative and sustainable ways.
For instance, together with a large number of partners from industry and academia we’ve unraveled the DNA sequence of a micro-organism used for producing penicillin, arguably the most important medicine around for the treatment of bacterial infections.
