Our sponsoring strategy is designed to support our mission: Bright Science. Brighter Living™. Bright Science refers to the unique way in which we combine our Life Sciences and Materials Sciences capabilities across the areas of health, nutrition and materials. Therefore, science plays a key role in our sponsoring. By forming partnerships with our customers and other stakeholders with whom we share ideas, insights and inspiration to create a Brighter Living, a positive contribution is made to the lives of people, today and for generations to come.
Sponsoring provides an opportunity to connect and interact with the people around us, to show them that DSM is a sustainable and innovative partner, both worldwide and in local communities.
Partnerships are at the heart of our sponsorship strategy. We believe that breakthrough solutions are ideally developed through teamwork. By intensively collaborating with our partners and sharing our knowledge and expertise, we stimulate the development of new insights.
Our current sponsorship strategy focuses on three main themes:
DSM & Nutrition and Health
At DSM, we are committed to putting our knowledge of health and nutrition to good use. That is why we are partnering with the United Nations’ World Food Programme (WFP) and the non-profit humanitarian initiative SIGHT AND LIFE. More>

In sports, DSM uses its knowledge of health, nutrition and materials to improve the performance of individual athletes and sports associations by providing them with access to innovative new products and technologies. More>

The arts make an important contribution to our quality of life, which is why DSM actively seeks to promote the arts in a variety of ways. More>
For the 2011-2012 period, DSM is focusing on the role of women in all of our sponsorship activities. We want to build greater understanding of and support for the key role of women in developing countries who are tackling the issue of malnutrition. We also want to further promote women’s participation in sports and provide opportunities for women in the world of art.
