Sustainability, health, safety and quality at DSM
If you become involved in sustainability and quality at DSM, you’re going to be at the center of our organization. If you work in health and safety, we want to know what else we can do to safeguard our 22,000 member family.
Instead of just using sustainability as a tool for making a responsible contribution to society, we’ve gone a step further and have placed it right at the very center of our business strategy. We see this as a logical consequence of our leadership in sustainability. Between 2004 and 2010, we were the leader in our sector in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (the most respected benchmark of ‘greenness’) no fewer than five times. We were among the leaders during the other years.
Quality
If you work in quality, you know that it’s a pre-requisite of doing business at a global level – and that the increasing fragmentation and diversification of markets makes this a complex and demanding task.
