The humble rubber tree secretes a resin that discourages insects from sucking its sap. So we took that active compound and developed it into an intermediate for the insecticide industry by using a unique biocatalyst that isolated only the active half of the molecule.
The result: Our customer can develop a compound that has 100% less waste and bi-product. Good for the environment, good for the bottom line and very bad news for mosquitos.
