DSM joins forces with the Forces
When the U.S. army and marines needed to improve the performance of the Enhanced Combat Helmet (ECH) they turned to DSM.
Our response – after testing both inside DSM and among helmet manufacturers – was Dyneema® HB. It’s a unidirectional composite that increases fragmentation performance in helmets by at least 35 percent. Which of course means better protection for the human being wearingthat helmet.
