DSM wins De Kristal 2011 sustainability award
DSM has been awarded De Kristal 2011, a prestigious Dutch prize for the most transparent sustainability report. The award was presented to DSM on 21 November, after DSM was ranked in first place in a transparency benchmark survey carried out by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation. The jury selected DSM as the winner because its Integrated Annual Report 2010 best reflected the balance between People, Planet and Profit.
DSM’s sustainability reporting has been recognized since 2009, when its report’s GRI rating was increased to A+. The A+ rating is the highest score companies worldwide can achieve for the transparency of their sustainability reporting efforts.
