DSM works with numerous leading office seating companies, like Herman Miller and Giroflex, to promote Cradle to Cradle designs that meet consumers’ growing demand for products that are better for the environment: For example, those that divert materials from the waste stream.
Akulon is a polyamide 6 thermoplastic provides strength and high impact resistance for structural parts from chair arms and seats to backs and bases. Akulon is the first and only polyamide with a Cradle to Cradle® certification. 
Arnitel is a tough thermoplastic copolyester elastomer that delivers superior comfort and creep performance for the seating layer of office chairs.
