  • Social responsibility with regard to art and culture
  • The contribution art makes towards the corporate image and identity
  • Making the work place more attractive

Results
In practice this results in:

  • A targeted collection
  • Art exhibitions
  • Providing art commissions
  • Art education
  • Sponsorship of art

By assembling its art collection DSM does not replace museums and instead aims to encourage visitors to such institutions.

The aims of the art policy are:

  • Stimulating and supporting in accordance with DSM’s social commitments
  • Exposing employees to as many types of contemporary art as possible
  • Communicating our art policy externally to reinforce our corporate image
