DSM Purchasing is a global organization that consists of a central DSM
Sourcing structure and a BG Sourcing structure. DSM Sourcing is set up to
fully leverage DSM Purchasing spend, resources, capabilities and best
practices. DSM Sourcing has regional representation in Europe, America and
Asia-Pacific. The BG Sourcing structure is set up for BG-specific spend and
multi-BG categories for which the BG acts as ‘lead buyer’ aligned with the DSM
Sourcing structure.

(Indirect Spend Area) DSM chooses to outsource work to third parties, such as
engineering contractors. In order to maintain safety and uniformity within DSM
