Production

The products of DSM Agro are produced at the following sites:

Geleen (The Netherlands)

The production location consists of two ammonia plants, two nitric acid plants and a granulation plant with 3  production lines. Main product is Nutramon, our calcium ammonium nitrate with orange granules.

IJmuiden (The Netherlands)

The production location consists of two nitric acid plants and a granulation plant with 3 production lines. Products are Nutramon, Magnesamon, NP and NS fertilizers.

Together, these plants produce 1,6 million tons of fertilizers per year. On top of this, DSM Agro also markets ammonium sulphate and urean - products that are produced in some of DSM's other plants.

DSM Agro uses the Best Available Techniques recommended by the European Fertilizer Industry to manufacture its products. These techniques ensure that the most energy efficient and environmental friendly methods are used to produce fertilizers of the highest quality.
