Urean is a ammonium nitrate-urea solution. The urea and ammonium has to be
transformed to nitrate before plants can up take the nitrogen.
Important notices for application of urean in arable crops
Apply on dry crops and only when a wax layer has formed
Do not use with high temperatures and sunshine or when the temperature is
below zero
Use low pressure and large droplets when applying
Use minimal 150 l/ha when applying in combination with crop protection
Use when mixing with water keep at least a ratio of 1:3 or better 1:4
(Urean:water)
In cereals, sugar beets and especially oilseed between the third day after
sowing and the three-leaf, six-leaf especially the four-leaf stadium no urean
application
Product data urean
N-efficiency
Plants can up take nitrate directly while urea and ammonium partially have to
be transformed into nitrate via reactions in the soil. The rate of this
process depends on soil moisture and soil temperature.
