Safety and Toxicity

The safety and toxicity data of the products are described in the Material Safety Data Sheets. The chemicals that are selected are crystalline solid powders with a low vapour pressure. They are easy-to-handle and have a low toxicity.

Notification of CBC (Annex VIIA of 92/32/EEC) was completed in March 2003. Experimental data show that CBC is not mutagenic, not toxic to water organisms, not irritating (skin, eye) and not sensitising; CBC is no oxidiser and not flammable. CBC and PBO are crystalline powders with a low vapour pressure. They are easy-to-handle and have a low toxicity.
