DSM business courses: What’s in it for you?

Every year DSM gives university students in the final stages of their studies the unique opportunity to get to know the many different aspects of our multinational company. In both business courses – TIME and MATCH - you will be our guest for several days during which we will give you a tour of various DSM locations, work on real-life cases, get to know people at all levels within DSM, both professionally and informally, and have a great time with students from different universities all over Europe.

In addition to these European courses, we organize our Business Course China for Chinese Master’s students in Shanghai (P.R.C.). After the course, the most talented students with the profile most suited to working for DSM are offered a job with DSM in China, including a 6-month European Traineeship.

TIMETIME – The Industrial Marketing Experience

The TIME business course gets you acquainted with the exciting ‘unlimited world of DSM’ and shows you what it means to work in marketing in a B2B industry. Today’s key focus within university business studies is on B2C marketing, the type of marketing required to sell end products to the consumer. Many end products found in the supermarket, in your household, in your car, in your medicine kit, in your clothing were made from DSM materials. Do you wonder how you market highly innovative ingredients and components to companies like Unilever, Volkswagen, Philips or Pfizer and get more value out of the value chain? Then it’s time to try TIME and get to know DSM!

MATCHMATCH – MAnufacturing and Technology in CHemistry

The MATCH business course offers you a look behind the scenes of manufacturing and technology within DSM. Have you ever wondered how we enzymatically produce antibiotics? Are you curious about the first PER C6 production platform in the world? Then you have met your MATCH! The MATCH business course is designed especially for students in chemical engineering, bio (process) technology, mechanical engineering and chemistry to get a glimpse of what it is like to work in the multidisciplinary fields of the chemical, biochemical, and mechanical engineering departments on a day-to-day basis.
