About 65% of DSM's employees work outside the Netherlands and we have more than 200 sites around the world ranging from small sales offices to large production sites. So when you work for DSM, there's a good chance that you'll make contact with people, have business meetings with customers, or attend scientific conferences outside the Netherlands. Furthermore, there are opportunities to be sent abroad for a couple of years, say, to start up a new production plant in Malaysia or run a sales office in Turkey. In the Netherlands the salary of a starter with a university degree is about 35,450 euro's per year. How this develops in time depends on the resposibilities you are assigned, your performance on the job, and the capabilities you display. This salary meets market standards.

The salary of new employees who already have working experience, depends on the former job(s) and the position they will be occupied with at DSM. The reward will be discussed on an individual basis.
