From the 13th through 18th of April 2008, DSM is hosting their TIME
International Business Course. Targeted at 3rd and 4th year Master’s students,
this course will provide a unique insight into the world of
business-to-business marketing at one of the world’s leading Life Sciences and
Materials Sciences companies.
Since its creation in 1987, the DSM TIME Business Course has been a key forum
for graduate recruitment at DSM. Each year around 30 students attend the
course, and three or four are generally offered permanent positions, so if
you’re interested in working for us then this really is your best chance!
Held in Switzerland and the Netherlands, TIME 2008 will be a five day live-in
workshop with case studies, marketing plans, presentations and seminars as
well as a host of sports and social activities. The program has been developed
to give you a flavor of working life at DSM. Recruitment officers and managers
from various echelons of the organization will be present, giving you the
opportunity to talk through the many exciting career prospects on offer at DSM.
The central theme for this year’s business course is 'Position Yourself',
which was chosen to reflect one of DSM’s key strengths, namely its ability to
adapt and evolve its position in order to take advantage of prevailing and
anticipated market conditions. As a student, you need to decide how best to
position yourself for the job market, targeting jobs that will allow you to
use and develop your strengths and tackle your weaknesses. During the course
you will be asked to challenge DSM’s positioning, through case studies and
marketing plans, and at the same time you might just get to challenge your own
positioning with respect to future career options.
The deadline for the TIME International Business Course has now passed.
