Selection and judging
A pre-selection committee will review the nominations and submit a shortlist of the best candidates to an international judging committee, which will select the winner. The names of the members of the judging committee will be announced here in due course.
For the nomination, the following criteria are applied:
- Originality
- Quality
- Impact
- Scientific reputation
In the final judging the following criteria will be taken into account:
- Reputation among peers / publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Contribution to Animal Nutrition & Health / Consistency of research activities
- Innovativeness of scientific contribution
- Research related to DSM scientific interest
- Influence on policy & programs related to Animal Nutrition
- Future potential to contribute to science
