The aim of the DSM Nutrition Award is to reward outstanding contributions to innovative research in the field of human and animal nutrition by established scientists anywhere in the world. The award is presented every two years and alternates between the fields of human and animal nutrition. In 2009 it was granted for research on human nutrition and in 2011 it will be granted for research on animal nutrition.
Animal nutrition
The DSM Nutrition Award for Animal Nutrition is granted in recognition of scientific work that has significantly contributed to:
- the improvement of animal nutrition and health through innovative concepts; and
- sustainable animal farming.
