The Business Unit DSM Sinochem Pharmaceuticals - Asia / Middle East / Africa (AMEA) is head-quartered at Gurgaon, India. Our manufacturing plant is based at Toansa (India), where we manufacture over 4000 tons of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) every year.
We are the only manufacturing site in the AMEA region which produces β-lactams through an enzymatic process. As such we are the proud manufacturers of products such as Purimox and Puricillin, and Cloxacillin & Flu Cloxacillin. Our customers are spread across the Indian Subcontinent, Asia Pacific inclusing Japan, Middle East, Africa and Australia.
We have a proud and highly engaged workforce of roughly 500 employees. BU AMEA has been awarded the Demand Driven Manufacturing Award in 2010, Green Manufacturing Award in 2009 and DSM SHE improvement award in 2008.
