Stefan Doboczky is Austrian, married to his wife Klaudia and has two children Anna and Lukas. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Vienna (A) and an MBA from the Business School IMD in Lausanne (CH). He started his career with Philips Electronics in Research, and joined ARCO Chemical, at that time a major player in bulk intermediates for Coating resins and Polyurethanes as Sales Representative in 1992 responsible for Eastern Europe. In 1994 he went for ARCO to Maidenhead (UK) where he worked in Business Intelligence and as Business Controller, after spending one year on the London Business School he studying Corporate Finance.

In 1998 he joined DSM in Linz (A) as Product Manager for Fine Chemicals, and since then held several commercial posts in the area of DSM Pharma Chemicals both in Austria and later on in Holland. In 2006 he joined DAI and moved to Beijing (P.R.C) as BU Director for DAI China. He was appointed BG Director for DAI as per March 2009.
