Stefan Doboczky (Austrian) holds a PhD in chemistry from the University of Vienna, Austria and an MBA from IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Stefan started his career with Philips Electronics in Research. In 1992 he joined ARCO Chemical, as Sales Representative responsible for Eastern Europe for bulk intermediates for Coating resins and Polyurethanes. In 1994, after a one year intermission to study corporate finance at the London Business School, Stefan went on to Maidenhead, UK to work in Business Intelligence and Business Controlling for ARCO.

In 1998 he joined DSM in Linz, Austria as Product Manager for Fine Chemicals, and since then held several positions within DSM Pharma Chemicals both in Austria and later on in Holland. In 2006 he joined DSM Anti-Infectives and moved to Beijing, China as Director of the business unit China.

In March 2009 Stefan was appointed Director of the business group DSM Anti-Infectives.
