DSM Biomedical to be key contributor to the international medical devices conference & expo

DSM PTG, part of DSM Biomedical, a global leader in biomedical materials, today announced the company’s participation in the upcoming 2009 International Medical Devices Conference & Expo (IMD EXPO). Dedicated to medical devices design, engineering, material selections and manufacturing, the 2009 IMD EXPO will bring together the world’s leaders in engineering and technology to discuss medical devices and applications for patient care. It is being held September 14-15, 2009 at the Hotel Marriott Downtown in San Jose, California.

Nelson Cooke, Ph.D., DSM PTG’s business development manager, will lead sessions and participate in discussions focused on important issues in the medical device industry. Cooke will chair the September 15th session, “Advances in Materials Complementing Device Design,” and will co-chair a second session that same day titled “Medical Device Design and Development.”
