ComfortCoat™ Hemocompatible Antimicrobial coatings offer an innovative coating technology that can improve the performance of medical devices. This coating technology combines a hemocompatibility with antimicrobial activity. As known, central venous catheters are associated with 200.000 Catheter Related Bloodstream infections each year in the United States. Our new technology consists of a hemocompatible hydrophilic non-eluting antimicrobial coating. This coating technology, in its late phase of development, is ready for testing with customers.
