ComfortCoat™ coating offers a range of innovative coatings that can improve the performance of medical devices over a wide range of applications. The hydrophilic coatings are especially developed for catheters, guidewires and other devices in vascular, neurological, urinary and other applications. The prolonged water retention characteristics of our urinary coating are unmatched. They enhance favorable handling of catheters during insertion by maintaining lubricity throughout the procedure. Recently we have launched a new application for ComfortCoat™ coating, an advanced lubricious hydrophilic coating designed to enhance maneuverability of metal guidewires in minimally invasive procedures. For example, minimally invasive procedures are carried out to treat strokes, brain aneurysms, and other neurovascular diseases.

We offer proprietary coating technology with ready-for-use coating reagents. Preparation of coated samples is done on commercially available equipment, which enables seamless scale up and technology transfer, as well as fast implementation and validation at the final manufacturing location.
