DSM Engineering Plastics produces thermoplastics for molded furniture fittings and structural components. DEP in Asia Pacific is headquartered in DSM China Campus located in Shanghai, China. Its production and research facilities in China includes: Compounding plant and Polymerization plant and Research and Development Service Center in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province; Automotive Development Center in Shanghai; representative offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Chongqing and Guangzhou and Regional Computer Aided Engineering Center in Taipei, Taiwan.

DSM Fibre Intermediates produces caprolactam as a raw material for Nylon-6, which is used in furnishings. Currently it has one production site in China located in Nanjing, Jiangsu province.

DSM NeoResins+ produces waterborne resins to develop pigmented and clear top coats for the furniture industry. Currently it has one production site in Shunde, Guangdong Province, China and has launched a series of new products through both waterborne resin and solvent resin platforms, including waterborne bus coatings, new types of waterborne coating systems for top-grade antique reproduction furniture made of wood and waterborne coating systems for glass and plastic.

DSM Powder Coating Resins produces synthetic coating resins for use in the furniture industry.  In China, DSM Powder coating resins takes the leading position in the industry and has invested more and more in China / Asia. Currently it has R&D center located in Shanghai and two production sites in Kunshan, Jiangsu province and Pingtung, Taiwan.
