Community programs

DSM runs a number of programs designed to help people in the world around us:

In March 2007 DSM announced an official partnership between itself and the United Nation’s World Food Programme (WFP). The WFP is the largest provider of food aid to the world’s hungry. DSM will provide the WFP with expertise, high nutrient products as well as financial assistance.

DSM Nutritional Products instituted its Nutrition Improvement Program to banish hidden hunger caused by a deficiency of micronutrients. DSM provides technical and scientific assistance to programs in developing countries dedicated to supplementing the normal diet and fortifying staple foods with vitamins and minerals.

SIGHT AND LIFE is a humanitarian initiative of DSM covering a wide range of activities in collaboration with global and local partners and cooperating with leading universities. To ensure a sustainable and significant improvement in human nutritioin and health, SIGHT AND LIFE encourages partnerships, the exchange of scientific information and the creation of networks.
