DSM Nanjing Chemical Company, hereinafter called DNCC, is a joint-venture
between DSM Fibre Intermediates (60%) and Sinopec Nanjing Chemical Industries
Company, Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Company and Jiangsu International Trust
Investment Company (combined 40%).
DNCC is located in the Nanjing New and High Technology Industry Development
Zone, Nanjing China, and has approximately 800 employees.
The major product for DNCC is caprolactam which is used as the key material
for the production of Nylon 6 as wll as many applications in textile fibres
spinning and resins. In 2005 DNCC began an expansion project which increased
the capacity from 60KT/y to 140KT/y by using DSM HPO+ technology.
