DSM Coating Resins announces that prices for its range of Liquid Polyester Resins used as binders and additives in Can, Coil, Automotive and other industrial coating systems will increase 15 July by 5% to 7% depending on the grade. These increases are necessary due to continuing price increases, since January, of global feedstocks such as NPG, PTA and solvents. DSM Coating Resins says with declining margins in recent years such raw material cost increases cannot continue to be absorbed.
