DSM Coating Resins announces increases for its whole range of liquid resins sold to the coatings industry as from October 2004.

The increases will be between 7% and 15 % depending on the products and will affect all product lines: Alkyds, Modified Alkyds, Alkyd Emulsions, Acrylics and Amino.  

This substantial increase is the result of the dramatic increase of prices for all major raw materials, energy, packaging and transport costs for the production and delivery of liquid coating resins.

DSM Coating Resins needs to enforce these price increases to insure the long-term sustainability of its business. DSM Coating Resins foresees feedstock prices will continue to increase along with the high crude oil price and strong global demand.

Customers will be notified directly of the impact of these price changes on the specific products they purchase from DSM Coating Resins.
