For optimum performance and maximum lifetime in applications that are
subjected to long-term loading, engineering plastics must have a high creep
resistance (i.e. a low plastic deformation under load). Polyesters have
excellent creep properties, making them very suitable for various construction
purposes or other applications where large stresses are applied to the
plastics parts for very long durations.
