Electrical properties of Arnite®

Arnite has excellent dielectric strength even at elevated temperatures. Since Arnite does not absorb significant quantities of moisture these properties do not change even when ambient humidity levels are high. Because of these benefits, Arnite is widely used for electrical applications such as in automotive fuse bodies, connectors, low voltage switch gears, telecom connectors, etc.

UL electrical property ratings

Detailed listings can be found at www.ul.com. Ratings are available for hot wire ignition (HWI), high current arc ignition (HAI), high voltage arc tracking resistance (HVTR), high voltage arc resistance (D495) and comparative tracking index (CTI).
