Stanyl, a unique high performance polyamide from DSM, is one of five main product lines offered by DSM Engineering Plastics. The group as a whole has manufacturing facilities across all important global markets - from the established markets of Europe, North America and Japan to those bearing the greatest future growth potential: China and India.

Stanyl is not just a trivial sideline. It represents a significant percentage of total group sales, which were at €624 million in 2004.

DSM is not the only manufacturer who offers a polyamide with proprietary chemistry. But where DSM stands out from the crowd is in its continual development of the brand, adding new grades and new functionality all the time.
