DSM grades balance enhanced processing with normal performance levels

•    Akulon® Ultraflow™: the easiest processing polyamide, excellent gloss even at very high reinforcement levels makes it look like metal
•   Stanyl®:  High heat resistance for applications where metals are replaced, making for lighter appliances with better looks. More...
•   Xantar® C has extremely high flow for PC/ABS blends and with even better properties for consumer goods
•   Arnitel® copolyesters: consistent molding, lower scrap rates, low cycle times, higher fatigue resistance and longer life times
•   Arnite® PBT and PET: easy to mold, excellent surface finish and colorability, with heat resistance, and excellent stiffness.

• Stanyl PA46 is used in ironing boards, and water kettle parts, replacing metals. This ensures greater appeal and at the same time functioning to satisfaction.
• Arnitel copolyester thermoplastic elastomer gears provide reduced noise in gear trains, improving the consumer' perception of quality. In wine taps Arnitel provides the tight seal needed and has excellent acid and alcohol resistance and does not taint the wine. Arnitel is used as O-rings in high-end watches to ensure water resistance. On handles of tools and appliances, Arnitel imparts a soft-touch feel .
• Akulon polyamides are used in housings: Power tools and small engine covers (power tools), Furniture components: chair bases, castor wheels; hair curlers bristle holders, blower parts in hair dryers, children pram handles, kitchen tools: tongs, spatulas, hot water stirrers, garlic crushers, agitator pulleys in washing machines; gas canisters for cigarette lighters, etc.
• Arnite is used in parts of hot-irons, taps, valves, bathroom fittings, in compressor parts for refrigerators, lamp housings, household tools e.g. scissor and knife handles, toaster housings, etc.
• Xantar is used in cash dispensing machines, roller shutters, and consumer electronic parts.
