Arnitel copolyester thermoplastic elastomer gears provide reduced noise in gear trains, improving the consumer' perception of quality. In wine taps Arnitel provides the tight seal needed and has excellent acid and alcohol resistance and does not taint the wine. Arnitel is used as O-rings in high-end watches to ensure water resistance. On handles of tools and appliances, Arnitel imparts a soft-touch feel .
