Arnitel® copolyester elastomer based springs extend life time performance on
rolling stock buffers and draft gears and provide the most efficient energy
absorption systems for a given weight or volume .
Arnitel based springs are used in traditional European side buffers and draw
gears as well in draft gear systems. Arnitel contributes to the safe and
comfortable transport of passengers and goods. Arnitel has exceptionally good
dynamic fatique and creep resistance properties which enables systems that are
more reliable and more durable than traditional spring systems based on metal,
rubber and/or hydraulics. Springs using Arnitel are maintenance free during
the lifetime of a buffer (20 years or more)
