Thermal Properties of Xantar®

Temperature resistance

Stiffness and strength show only a slight dependence on temperature up to the HDT. Beyond that, properties fall off rapidly.

Temperature Stability

The relative temperature index (RTI) shows the effect of temperature on long-term performance (impact and electrical properties). Xantar resins have RTI ratings according to Underwriters Laboratory (UL) of up to 130°C. The RTI ratings of modified Xantar grades and Xantar C blends are in general on a lower level
