CaroPure®/CaroCare® crystals are formed from natural beta-carotene and can be used in a variety of colourant and nutritional applications. The high purity of the crystals facilitates production of numerous highly concentrated and stable formulations such as oil suspensions, CWS and beadlets. Apart from its excellent suitability for colouring a wide range of food products, the product is also an important micro-nutrient and pro-vitamin A source. The crystals provide 1.6 mln IU/gr.
As such, it can be used in:
- nutritional formulations and
- dietary supplements.
Applications
Natural beta-carotene can be used in food and beverage supplements. Beta-carotene crystals are the basic raw materials or all beta-carotene formulations that find numerous applications in food colouring as well as in soft gel gelatine capsules and dry tablets.
