From the discovery of Amylase in 1906 to the launch of PreventASe™ in 2007,
our 100 years of innovation has made DSM a world leader in the formulation of
new enzymes for the food industry.
PreventASe™ is not required to be listed on the product’s food labels, and
requires no registration in most European countries (except for France and
Denmark) as it is considered a processing aid.
A safety record for review has been submitted to the French food safety
authority AFFSA - resulting in an approval for our product. PreventASe™ has
also been approved in Denmark and Switserland.
Also in the US, PreventASe™ can be applied without any further registrations.
The FDA reviewed our safety data and provided GRAS notification for
PreventASe™.
