DSM Food Specialties has unveiled its latest innovation – the BR-Test Accelerator ^®[1], a fully-automated milk testing system specifically designed to comply with official screening regulations in Germany and Austria. Thanks to breakthrough technology the BR-Test Accelerator offers milk control stations and dairy laboratories a flexible system which delivers accurate, reliable and consistent results every time. 

The BR-Test Accelerator detects antibiotic residues in milk in accordance with local testing procedures. It works by incubating and reading the samples at the same time. Specialised software then evaluates the test results automatically to ensure more accurate results are obtained than through examination by the human eye. Digital results are sent directly to the database, facilitating analysis and high throughput. And, for added flexibility, the system can be used with both Delvotest^®[2]  and BR-Test, for complete compliance with all screening methods in the region.
