With the development of ALLINCO™, it is now possible to extend polymer chains in a simple extrusion process. ALLINCO™ can be fed in a small weight percentage (less than 1.0 % and as a rule between 0.5 and 0.8 %) to the extrusion process. This process can be either in-line before the end process, or can be a processing step in which granulate is produced as a semi-finished product. Under the correct processing conditions, ALLINCO™ reacts with the polymer and connects the end groups thereof, creating longer polymers.
