Continued investment to ensure reliability and quality

Already this year our GPH-Melamine facilities in Geleen, The Netherlands, have
seen a multi-million Euro investment. This included maintenance and inspection
activities; but also strategic spending that will maintain the quality level
and viability of the facility for years to come..

We instituted a similar project in Indonesia last September, where the
turnaround at our plant included system changes that will be good for the next
15 years.

Meanwhile at the Shanxi Fenghe Melamine Co. Ltd (our melamine JV in China), we
are making use of our in-depth technology knowledge, built over 45 years by
employing three different melamine production technologies – and using the
recent turnaround to improve output from our plants even further.
