Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL)

Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) is made in the form of beams by gluing large pieces of solid wood together.

Colossal constructions can be made using LVL beams. The beams are often preferred to solid wooden beams because they are stronger and easier to shape.

LVL also results in more efficient utilization of wood, making it environmentally responsible.

Typical LVL applications include:
- Beams for the construction industry

Melamine in LVL

When melamine resins are used as the adhesive, the glue lines are colorless, giving an aesthetically pleasing result that is comparable to solid natural wood.

Other uses for melamine in the construction industry include parallel strand lumber.
