Who is the course for?
The course is designed for the relevant
staff of DSM Melamine customers (MF/MUF resin/adhesive manufacturers,
laminators and integrated panel producers). Participants are likely to be
technicians or chemists currently working (or planning to work) in the
processing and application of melamine, and more specifically, those working
in M(U)F production and control operations or in M(U)F product and application
development.
Objectives
• Introduce participants to the field of melamine
processing, providing a thorough understanding of melamine and other raw
materials, the melamine-formaldehyde chemistry and condensation process, and
the tools used to control product process and application.

Create a basis for exchanging experiences and ideas, giving customers a better
understanding of DSM Melamine (product and services) and providing DSM
Melamine with a better understanding of our customers’ needs and interests.
• Provide a technical services platform for individual contacts and networking.
Content
The course consists of a number of
modules covering various aspects of melamine and
melamine-(urea)-formaldehyde resin chemistry. All modules comprise both theory
classes and laboratory demonstrations.
