DSM Kaltim Melamine (DKM) today announces an extension to its plant
shutdown until the end of September at the earliest.
Scheduled maintenance of the DKM plant in Indonesia is expected to be
completed on time during the second week of September. In addition to this
extensive maintenance program, the successful completion of several additional
projects will reconfirm the leadership position of DKM in Asia for years to
come.
However, as a result of recent developments in the cost of raw materials, DSM
Kaltim Melamine has decided to restart its operations at the end of September.
This decision will have no adverse effect on the agreed supply of melamine.

the Asia Pacific markets.
