today announce a global price increase for MelaminebyDSM™, with immediate
effect or as contracts allow. The price increase is USD/mt 400 (USD 0.18/#)
for the Americas, USD/mt 350 for APAC and Eur/mt 200 for EMEA. Further pricing
actions might be implemented as they become necessary.
This increase is the result of the continuing change in global supply/demand
dynamics and the unprecedented high cost of raw materials.
DSM Melamine is determined to restore satisfactory financial results which
they believe is in the best interest of the industry’s long term
sustainability.
The Q4 DSM Melamine Industry Update will be published end of calendar week 36.
