DSM Nutritional Products confirms unique quality leadership position by
completing CEPs for all vitamins
CEP (Certificate of suitability with the European Pharmacopoeia) is a
guarantee for assessed and approved quality by EDQM (European Directorate for
Quality of Medicines) and guarantees the purity of the active ingredients and
state-of-the-art analytics applied. Although it is a European certificate,
more than 40 countries outside Europe accept it as a proof of quality as well.
DSM Nutritional Products started more than 10 years ago with obtaining the
CEPs for its vitamins, making the company a pioneer in the quality and safety
of health ingredients in Europe and beyond. EDQM recently granted DSM
Nutritional Products the CEP for Vitamin B5 (Calpan). This makes DSM
Nutritional Products the only company that has CEP certificates for its whole
range of Vitamins. For the majority of vitamins (like Vitamin A and E) DSM is
the sole supplier owning CEPs.
