With the introduction of PARSOL® TX, a new microfine Titanium Dioxide, DSM
Nutritional Products expanded its PARSOL® UV filter line. PARSOL® TX is a new
grade of microfine Titanium Dioxide, that eliminates once and for all, the
compatibility issue with PARSOL® 1789 (Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane,
Avobenzone) without any side effects, like deactivation or discoloration.
PARSOL® TX also significantly contributes to in vivo SPF, and offers an
excellent transparency profile when formulated. It also has superior stability
due to a very complete surface treatment.
PARSOL® TX offers a very high degree of formulation flexibility, is compatible
with almost all cosmetic ingredients and, of course, complements the entire
PARSOL range.
PARSOL® TX is setting a new standard in microfine Titanium Dioxide.

The year 2012 marks the 100th anniversary of the discovery of vitamins. In 1912, a scientist named Casimir Funk coined the term “vitamins” to describe bioactive substances essential for human and animal health.
